Christmas tree 2023

Beginning of the Christmas season with the lighting of the Christmas tree  in Argostoli Square with a rich festive program and a warm festive atmosphere throughout the city.

The countdown to the lighting of the Tree was made by the deputy mayor Giorgos Tsilimidos, with the president of the Chamber of Kefalonia – Ithaki Stavros Spathi. The presentation of the event was made by Eleni Loukeri and Despina Laskari.

There was the Philharmonic of the Municipality of Argostoli “Dionysios Lavragas”, with special Christmas notes and melodies, filling the city with light and Christmas sparkle! The Children’s Choir and the Women’s Choir of the Municipality of Argostoli, singing well-known Christmas tunes, wish us a Happy Birthday! The students of the Elisavet Livieratou dance school wish us Happy Holidays by dancing with choreographies of the days and the group ENORASIS.
